The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition in the form of immediate release granules, wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises an agent from 25 to 85 % w/w in respect of the total amount of the pharmaceutical composition up to 15.7 % w/w of water content in respect of the total amount of the pharmaceutical composition or the ratio water content / agent measured as anhydrous form is up to 31.5 % w/w and wherein the agent is the distrontium salt of the acid 2-(N,N-di(carboxymethyl)amino)-3-cyano-4-carboxymethyl-5-carboxythiophene, a derivative or a homologue thereof and wherein the D50 of the immediate release granules ranges from 140 to 800 microns.
