PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety in a body fluid suction device for sucking a body fluid over a wide range from a comparatively small suction flow rate to a comparatively large suction flow rate.
SOLUTION: The body fluid suction device (1) for sucking the body fluid with a suction tube (3) connected to a suction pump (2) includes: a suction flow rate setting means (7) for setting the suction flow rate and a control means (6) for controlling the suction pump (2) so as to perform suction by the suction flow rate set in the suction flow rate setting means (7). The control means (6) performs control to continuously operate the suction pump (2) by the set suction flow rate when the suction flow rate set in the suction flow rate setting means (7) is equal to or less than a prescribed value, and not to continuously operate the suction pump (2) by the set suction flow rate when the suction flow rate set in the suction flow rate setting means (7) is larger than the prescribed value.
