PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric reel which can be inexpensively manufactured and enables automatic high speed winding and line feeding of free dropping by extremely reducing the number of parts and utilizing a low-cost member, while fully satisfying anglers sensibility in lure or striking which are charm of lake smelt fishing, and to provide a lake smelt fishing rod equipped with the electric reel.SOLUTION: There are provided the electric reel and the fishing rod equipped with the same. The reel body has a battery storage part (2) and a holding part (1) formed as a unit. An electric motor (4) is built in the holding part, and its motor shaft (5) is arranged in the holding part in a direction facing ahead viewing from a holder, that is the axial rotation of the motor may rotate to a clockwise direction or a counterclockwise direction seen from the holder, wherein a longitudinal direction of the battery is in agreement with the motor shaft direction, a joint (6) directly connects the bobbin winding spool (9) and the electric motor shaft (5), and arranges them so that bobbin winding rotating direction to be the same as the motor rotating direction and rotation center may also become the same, the central axis of the spool, the joint and the motor and battery part may be completely in agreement.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】ワカサギ釣りの妙味である誘いや合わせの際に、釣り人の感性を十分に満足させながら、かつ部品点数を極めて少なくし、かつ安価な部材を活用して、低コストで製造可能な自動高速巻き上げとフリー落下の糸送りを可能とする電動リール及びそれを備えたワカサギ釣り竿を提供する。【解決手段】リール本体に電池収納部(2)と一体として形成した把持部(1)をもち、この把持部に電動モーター(4)を内蔵し、そのモーター軸(5)は持ち手から前方に向く方向、つまりモーターの軸回転が持ち手から見て時計方向もしくは反時計方向に回転するように把持部に配置され、電池の長手方向はモーター軸方向と一致し、ジョイント(6)は糸巻きスプール(9)と電動モーター軸(5)を直接連結させ、糸巻き回転方向が該モーター回転方向と同一かつ回転中心も同一になるように配置し、スプール、ジョイント、モーター及び電池部の中心軸が完全に一致するように構成することを特徴とする電動リール及それを備えた釣り竿。【選択図】図1
