PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel capable of avoiding functional decline in a spool reciprocation device, while downsizing a reel body.SOLUTION: A fishing spinning reel 100 according to the present invention comprises: a body 10 that has a side-part opening 13 formed thereon and in which a spool reciprocation device 70 is supportedly stored a lid member 30 for closing a side part 13 and a cover member 40 attached to the rear side of the body 10. The fishing spinning reel 100 is configured to rotatably support a handle shaft 5 by the body 10 and the lid member 40. The body 10 includes, on the rear side thereof, a rear-part opening 15 for receiving at least a part of a component 74 constituting the spool reciprocation device 70 for disposing it on the rear.
