As for the Q thermal vaccine formulation which contains the antigen which is obtained by the fact that bloodless clearly it cultures the body sierra germ of this invention as the active ingredient, by comparison with the vaccine which is produced until recently, we have the significant quality that, unknown pathogenic factor has not mixed, it is something which is very beneficial in medical medicine manufacture field.本発明者らは、無血清培養法でコクシエラ菌の培養が可能であることを初めて見出し、この菌体を用いることにより、無血清培養法によるワクチン製造が可能であることを明らかにした。本発明のコクシエラ菌を無血清培養することで得られる抗原を有効成分として含有するQ熱ワクチン製剤は、従来製造されてきたワクチンと比較し、未知の病原因子が混入していないという有意な特性を持っており、医療・製薬分野で非常に有益なものである。
