PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling pot having a biodegradability and capable of reducing a labor required for seedling. SOLUTION: The seedling pot 10 is provided with a biodegradable resin layer 11 containing a biodegradable resin as a principal ingredient, and a water retaining layer 12 containing a water-absorbing resin as a principal ingredient, and has at least one through-hole 13 formed on a side surface 10a. In the seedling pot 10, it is preferable that there is a pair of biodegradable resin layers 11 and the water retaining layer 12 is arranged between the pair of the biodegradable resin layers 11.
