PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a type III collagen production promotor capable of effectively promoting production of type III collagen serving as a constitutional component of derma, being continuously orally ingestible, and including a highly safe active ingredient derived naturally.SOLUTION: A type III collagen production promotor includes herbal medicines or extracts thereof consisting of stems or leaves of Astragalus membranaceus, ginseng, licorice, Leguminosae Dolichos lablab L., Coix lachrymal-jobi var. ma-yuen, malt, Zingiberaceae Amomum cardamomum L., Crataegus cuneata and Aurantii nobilis pericarpium.
