PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic smoothly spreadable in application, free from whitening trouble in spreading, having excellent hair-fixing performance, imparting the hair with moderate flexibility and luster and having excellent storage stability.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic contains (A) an aliphatic ester exhibiting pasty or solid state at 20°C, (B) a polyoxyalkylene derivative, (C) a nonionic film-forming resin and (D) water and uses (E) a 12-22C fatty acid salt as an emulsifier.
