Provided is a raccoon trapping module which, when fitted to a pre-existing wild-animal trapping cage, enables the trapping of raccoons only in the trapping cage. A raccoon trapping module, which is fitted to a wild-animal trapping cage provided with at least a door for opening and closing an entrance of an oblong cage, a lock mechanism for locking the door in an open state, and a link member linked to a trigger member for performing a lock release operation with respect to the lock mechanism, is configured from a hollow housing capable of being fitted to opposite ends of the door of the cage. An arm insertion port into which an upper arm of a raccoon can be inserted is provided to the door-side surface of the housing. A bait-placement unit into which bait is put is provided inside the housing so as to be within reach of finger tips of a raccoon when the arm of the raccoon has been inserted up to the upper arm thereof from the opening. When the raccoon takes the bait from the bait-placement unit, a connection member causes a lock release operation with respect to the lock mechanism via the link member.
