PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of artifact in photoacoustic imaging.SOLUTION: An analyte information acquisition device comprises reception means 131 that receives acoustic waves generated from an analyte to which light is applied, at a plurality of reception positions, and outputs time-series reception signals, and processing means 140 that projects back the time-series reception signals to acquire characteristic information. The processing means includes: means of acquiring dispersion indices of light intensity distribution on a back-projection spherical surface for projecting back the time-series reception signals, for each reception position means of acquiring an angular range in the back projection on the basis of a dispersion index for each reception position and acquisition means of projecting back the reception signals in the angular range to acquire the characteristic information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
