PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transcutaneous drug delivery device which can be manufactured at a low cost and miniaturize a controller, and can prevent erroneous connection between the controller and a patch.SOLUTION: A transcutaneous drug delivery device (10) includes a structure in which a light-reflecting surface (60) for reflecting light is formed on a part of the side of the surface of a patch (12) where the controller (14) is attached, and a light-emitting element (68) for irradiating the light-reflecting surface (60) with light when the controller (14) and the patch (12) are correctly attached to each other and a light-receiving element (70) for receiving the light from the light-reflecting surface (60) are equipped on the controller (14). Upon receiving an instruction to start energization, the controller (14) causes the light-emitting element (68) to emit light, and when the light reception amount of the light-receiving element (70) is a predetermined value or more, the controller supplies a current to the patch (12), and when the light reception amount of the light-receiving element (70) is not more than the predetermined value, the controller does not supply a current to the patch (12), but informs that erroneous connection has occurred.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】コストの低減及びコントローラの小型化を図るとともに、コントローラとパッチとの誤接続を防止する経皮的薬物投与装置を提供する。
