A specially designed uterine retraction cannula of 25cm length and with 18mm /12 mm diameter with Vaginal and Outer portions and an Uterine portion consisting of a fundal portion having larger and longitudinal perforations, and the cervical portion having smaller and round perforations for stopping atonic postpartum bleeding. The cannula is developed to create negative pressure inside the uterine cavity, which results in constriction of uterus and aids in stopping bleeding within four minutes after the incitation of procedure and could prevent maternal death.
