A collector grapple (22) includes a first arm (2) and a second arm (3) pivoted to each other and arranged in such a way that the said second arm (3) can be pulled out from between the trees (4) gathered in the throat (14). The second arm (3) includes a rotating support surface (12) for rotating the second arm (3) relative to the first arm (2) and the said frame (1) includes a counter-surface (5) located in such a way that when the collector grapple (22) rotates, the support surface (12) meets the counter-surface (5), rotating the second arm (3) relative to the first arm (2).
