PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a recessed groove without impairing functions of a surface sheet in an absorbent article in which the recessed groove is formed in a longitudinal direction on a skin side.SOLUTION: An absorber 4 includes a recessed groove-shaped absorber recessed part 20 without pressing on a surface on a side of a liquid-permeable surface sheet 3 in a longitudinal direction of an incontinence pad 1 and over the longitudinal direction region including a urine excretion site H. A plurality of pin-shaped embossments or dot-shaped embossments 21, 21... are made on a bottom surface of the absorber recessed part 20 from a surface side of the liquid-permeable surface sheet 3 with the liquid-permeable surface sheet 3 laminated on the absorber 4.
