Transporting a patient involves the use of multiple vehicles, in which the patient experiences constant vibrations. The life support litter (10) employs multiple dampeners to reduce the likelihood of the life support litter experiencing vibrations, making transportation more comfortable for the patient. The life support litter (10) comprises a bed assembly (20)； a chassis assembly (30) and a plurality of vibration dampeners. The bed assembly (20) comprises a mattress (26) connected to a mattress frame (25). The chassis assembly (30) is connected to the mattress frame (25) and provides support to the mattress frame (25). The chassis assembly (30) is operable to secure the life support litter (10) to a transport vehicle. The plurality of vibration dampeners are disposed about the life support litter (10) and are operable to reduce vibrations of a plurality of frequencies. The bed assembly (20) further comprises an adjustable upper body section (21) and an adjustable lower body section (22). The plurality of vibration dampeners comprises a first vibration dampener which is operable to reduce vibrations of a first frequency range from a first vibration source and a second vibration dampener which is operable to reduce vibrations of a second frequency range from a second vibration source. The first frequency range is different to the second frequency range. The life support litter (10) further comprises a first mounting track (35) and a second mounting track (35). The first mounting track (35) is disposed about the adjustable upper body section (21) and the second mounting track (35) is disposed about the adjustable lower body section (22). The first (35) and second (35) mounting tracks are operable to engage mounting pins used to mount medical equipment.
