PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oily dispersion of particulate iron oxide having high ultraviolet light-protecting effect and high bare skin feeling.SOLUTION: The oily dispersion of particulate iron oxide comprises particulate iron oxide, a silicone oil and a surfactant, and the particulate iron oxide is highly dispersed. The particulate iron oxide is highly dispersed so that the average disperse particle diameter becomes &le150 nm by strong dispersion force.
