PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a stereoscopic image suitable for stereoscopic vision without causing a cost increase and to perform stereoscopic imaging of excellent stability and reproducibility.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a radiation irradiating section for irradiating a subject with radiation from two mutually different imaging directions, and a radiation image detector for detecting radiation images for every imaging direction with the irradiation of radiation of the radiation irradiating section. The mammographic imaging apparatus acquires two radiation images detected by the radiation image detector, as images that compose the stereoscopic image.
