The present invention relates to a method for handling vulnerable social insects (1), such as wasps or hornets, with a view to the destruction of their nests comprising the following steps: • capture of the insect (1), • manipulation of the insect (1) until immobilized in a flat position, with its head free, • removal of a product, attractant and insecticide on the head or the neck of the insect (1), between the back of the head and the front of the chest, • release of the insect (1). The present invention further relates to a kit, specially designed to implement the method according to the invention. La présente invention concerne un procédé de manipulation d'insectes sociaux vulnérants (1), de type guêpes ou frelons, en vue de la destruction de leurs nids comportant les étapes suivantes : • capture de l'insecte (1), • manipulation de l'insecte (1) jusqu'à l'immobiliser dans une position à plat, avec sa tête dégagée, • dépose d'un produit, attractif et insecticide sur la tête ou dans le cou de l'insecte (1), entre l'arrière de la tête et l'avant du thorax, • relâche de l'insecte (1). La présente invention concerne encore un kit, spécialement conçu pour mettre en œuvre le procédé selon l'invention.
