PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile apparatus for manufacturing a sealed sandwich, capable of easily producing a desired product by properly selecting a filling, corresponding to small lot production with large variety in the range from several pieces to several ten pieces, suitable for use in a small-scale bread bakery, a canteen, and a convenience store.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a lower mold KA in which a plurality of bread pieces B in sheet form with a sandwiched filling F and an upper mold KB which is retractably disposed opposed to the lower mold KA and forms a sealed sandwich product S with a sealed filling F when moved forward by pressing the periphery of the filling F of the bread pieces B on the lower mold KA for crimping in concerted action with the lower mold KA. The upper mold KB is retractably supported at a predetermined position. The lower mold KA is movable between two positions, i.e. a work position X at which bread pieces B with a sandwiched filling F can be manually placed in the lower mold KA and a molding position Y at which pressing by the opposing upper mold KB is performed.
