PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal material which is conformable to a living body and can be used for a liquid crystal elastomer, and to provide an elastomer which includes the liquid crystal material.
SOLUTION: After a medicine material with acid parts such as a carboxylic acid or the like and polybutadiene are melted into an organic solvent, the mixture in which organic solvent is evaporated is heated to 220°C, cross-links take place between polybutadienes and the mixture becomes an elastomer, and thereby the medicine material which has acid parts such as a carboxylic acid or the like is encapsulated in the elastomer. In the crystallized state, an aggregate is formed by a hydrogen bond between pyridine parts of the compound and COOH groups of the medicine material.
