The present invention provides a composition for preventing or ameliorating obesity, including quercitrin, spiraeoside, or a mixture thereof. The mixture of quercitrin and spiraeoside regulates the expression of transcription factors related to adipocyte differentiation better than a single substance of quercitrin and spiraeoside, thereby inhibiting fat production, reducing body weight and body fat, and improving lipid metabolism.
