PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding-type rice transplanter capable of dissolving nonconformities, when a breaking device works in setting a turn control mode. SOLUTION: The riding type rice transplanter is provided with a controlling device 170 which controls to prevent damages: when a turn control mode is set, a seedling planting device 3 is automatically lifted by the operation of a link device 2 for lifting during turning motion of a work vehicle 1 by breaking off a clutch I of a rear wheel 7 inside the turning, and the seedling planting device 3 is lowered to a seedling planting position during straight advancing after the turning; then if a brake device J of the rear wheel 7 inside the turning starts operating, an action, in the turn control mode, of lowering the seedling planting device 3 to the seedling planting position by the link device 2 is inhibited by the controlling device 170 in order to prevent damages to the seedling planting device.
