PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing line that has excellent flexibility, excellent sinking properties in water and yet hardly reduces sinking properties by use.
SOLUTION: The fishing line is a twisted yarn or braided yarn composed of polyarylate multifilament yarns in which the outer surfaces of the multifilament yarns are plated with a metal, gap parts of single yarns each other constituting the multifilament yarns are also plated with a metal, depth of plating area from the outer surface of the multifilament yarn is larger than the circle equivalent diameter of the single yarn and the central part of the multifilament yarn is not plated.
