PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool having prolonged life by blocking excessive torque transmission between a driving shaft and a driven shaft, thereby suppressing application of excessive load on components.
SOLUTION: There is provided a bush cutter 1 furnished with a power shaft 20 receiving rotational driving force from a driving part 5 at one end and rotatably supported in an operation rod 2, a driven shaft 30 connected with a rotary blade 3 in a rotatable manner at one end and rotatably supported on the operation rod 2, and a spring 40 connecting the other end of the power shaft 20 and the other end of the driven shaft 30 in a manner to enable power transmission, and deforming in radial direction of the power shaft 20 or the driven shaft 30 to block the power transmission between the power shaft 20 and the driven shaft 30 when a torque of a preset level or above is generated between the power shaft 20 and the driven shaft 30.
