Pyridocarbazole-type compounds of formula (I):are provided as a medicament, and more particularly for application in anticancer chemotherapy. Also provided is a pharmaceutical composition with the compound and methods for preventing and/or treating neurodegenerative-type pathologies, such as Alzheimers disease and schizophrenia, parasitoses, such as malaria, or glaucomas.
