The invention relates to a medicament for the treatment of respiratory tract diseases selected from the group including rhinosinusitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome, wherein the medicament comprises glutaryl histamine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in an effective amount. The invention also relates to use of glutaryl histamine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for manufacture a medicament for the treatment of a respiratory tract disease. The medicament provides potentiating the effectiveness of antibacterial therapy for the treatment of respiratory tract diseases.본 발명은 유효량의 글루타릴 히스타민 또는 이의 약제학적으로 허용되는 염을 포함하는, 비부비동염, 부비강염, 편도염, 모세기관지염, 폐렴 및 급성 호흡곤란 증후군을 포함하는 그룹 중에서 선택된 기도 감염의 치료 약물에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 기도 감염의 치료 약물의 제조에 사용되는 글루타릴 히스타민 또는 이의 약제학적으로 허용되는 염의 용도에 관한 것이다. 상기 약물은 기도 감염의 치료를 위한 항균요법의 효능을 증가시킬 수 있다.
