To produce a loose material, where every particle or granule core is coated, the cores are recirculated by a rotor into a radial and tangential movement pattern. At least the outer one-third of the rotor is turned upwards at an angle of 10-180 deg to the rotor axis. The direction of movement of the cores, at the wall of the rotor chamber and over the rotor, is changed into a generally vertical and tangential line through the effect of kinetic energy. The guide system over the rotor deflects the tangential movement of the cores in a sliding and impact-free action and, at the same time, into a central direction so that the cores have an independent movement from the rotor through rolling at the guide and under each other until gravity brings them again into the radial and tangential working zone of the rotor. While the cores are being recirculated, a powder coating base material and a liquid bonding agent are fed into the system. Also claimed is an appts. where radially outer one-third of the upper surface of the rotor (4) is bent conically outwards and upwards at an angle of 100-800 deg to the rotor axis (3). The guides are guide paddles (11) at the inner wall of the rotor chamber (1), directly over the plane (9) of the upper edge (5) of the rotor (4). The separate paddles (11) have the shape of an arc or spiral segment, on cross section to the rotor axis. The outer end of the paddle (11) projects from the inner wall (6) of the rotor chamber (1) in a smooth and unbroken line, in the direction of rotor (4) rotation, and the inner end is at the centre of the rotor radius. The cores, through the kinetic energy, leave the rotor (4) to roll at the inner side of the paddles (11) to change their direction of movement and alter the line in the central direction.
