Described herein are methods and compositions for treating cancer. Aspects of the invention relate to administering to a subject an agent that inhibits the activity, level, and/or migration of a SiglecFhigh cell. Another aspect of the invention relates to first identifying a population of SiglecFhigh cells in a patient and then administering an agent to the patient that inhibits the activity, level, and/or migration of said population of SiglecFhigh cells. In one embodiment, the patient has lung cancer.La présente invention concerne des méthodes et des compositions pour traiter le cancer.
