An objective of the present invention is to provide a new oxytocin derivative that has a more sustained effect in the body, and a drug composition containing said compound. The objective is met by providing: a new oxytocin derivative in which a hydrophobic group is introduced into the amino group of the cysteine at the N-terminus of oxytocin and/or into the hydroxyl group of the second tyrosine from the N-terminus of oxytocin； and a new oxytocin derivative in which a hydrophobic group is introduced into the hydroxyl group of the tyrosine of deamino-dicarba-oxytocin.本発明は、生体内での効果の持続性を向上させた新規オキシトシン誘導体および該化合物を含む医薬組成物を提供することを目的とする。 オキシトシンのＮ末端システインのアミノ基および／またはＮ末端から２番目のチロシンの水酸基に疎水性基を導入した新規オキシトシン誘導体およびデアミノ－ジカルバ－オキシトシンのチロシンの水酸基に疎水性基を導入した新規オキシトシン誘導体を提供することにより、上記目的が達成された。
