The present invention relates to an authentication apparatus based on electrocardiogram (ECG). The present invention provides a small-scale authentication method having a quick response characteristic by performing authentication using a single pulse electrocardiogram signal, and improves authentication accuracy by using the ECG information of a registered user as a guide and removing the noise of the ECG signal of a user to be authenticated. The authentication apparatus includes an ECG signal acquisition part, a filtering part, and a comparison part.본 발명은 심전도 기반의 인증 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 단일 펄스의 심전도 신호로 인증을 수행함으로써 빠른 응답 특성을 갖는 소규모 인증 방법을 제공하고, 등록된 사용자의 심전도 정보를 가이드로 하여 인증하고자하는 사용자의 심전도 신호의 잡음을 제거함으로써 인증 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있다.
