The invention relates to a process for recycling fruit-tree wastes. According to the invention, the process consists in mixing 70...75% fragments of dead branches of fruit trees, such as apple tree, pear tree, plum tree, and cherry tree, having sizes of 5...10 cm, previously hydrated for 24 h with a beer yeast solution having 3...5% dry matter, 3...5% oat bran, 1...3% gypsum, up to a pH value of 6...6.5, after which the mixture is used as a nutritive medium for cultivating edible mushrooms of the species Lentinula edodes.
