The present invention relates to a syringe to assist backward movement of a plunger, which comprises: a cylinder having a hallow structure, a needle mounted at one end, and a support mounted along the circumference of the other end； the plunger sliding in forward and backward directions in a hollow of the cylinder； and a supporter mounted at one end of the plunger and including a pressing part with a constant volume to press the plunger when coming in contact with a thumb and a bent part bent and extended from one end of the pressing part to surround a part of the thumb. Accordingly, a part of a thumb of medical staff is surrounded by the supporter mounted at an end part of the plunger, thereby providing an effect of conveniently pushing or pulling the plunger.본 발명에 따른 플런저의 후진을 보조하는 주사기는, 중공 구조로서 일단에 니들이 장착되고 타단의 둘레를 따라 받침대가 장착된 실린더； 상기 실린더의 중공에서 전진 및 후진 방향으로 슬라이딩 이동하는 플런저； 상기 플런저의 단부에 장착된 것으로, 엄지와 접촉되어 상기 플런저를 누를 수 있도록 일정 체적으로 이루어진 누름부와, 상기 누름부의 일단에서 엄지의 일부를 감싸도록 절곡 연장된 절곡부를 구비한 서포터；를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.본 발명에 따른 플런저의 후진을 보조하는 주사기에 의하면, 플런저의 단부에 장착된 서포터에 의해 의료종사자의 엄지 일부가 감싸임으로 플런저를 보다 편리하게 밀거나 당길 수 있다는 효과를 가진다.
