A surgical sagittal saw blade that includes a guide bar to which a blade head is pivotally mounted. The guide bar includes a bottom bar； an inner bar disposed over the bottom bar； and an outer bar disposed over the inner bar. The inner bar has a distal end face that is curved and that is spaced inwardly of the distal ends of the bottom bar and the outer bar. The blade head has a base that pivots around the curved distal end face of the inner bar.
