PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a back sheet from breaking due to a superabsorbent polymer even with a low weight back sheet, and to reduce twisting by increasing rigidity.SOLUTION: An absorber 4 is composed of a lowermost layer absorber 4A that is arranged on a back sheet 2 side and an upper layer absorber 4B that is arranged on the top face of the lowermost layer absorber 4A. A superabsorbent polymer is mixed in the upper layer absorber 4B and not in the lowermost layer absorber 4A in the structure of the absorber. Even if the superabsorbent polymer spills from the upper layer absorber 4B, it is blocked with the lowermost absorber 4A, having no possibility of damaging the back sheet 2. Also, the lowermost absorber 4A can be provided with embossment 5 from the face on the back sheet 2 side, with rigidity increased by the embossment to reduce twisting. In addition, the embossment 5 provides high compression, facilitating blocking of the superabsorbent polymer passing through. Furthermore, with the superabsorbent polymer infiltrating in the pocket space of the embossment 5, the back sheet 2 is prevented from being damaged.
