SOLUTION: The safety syringe is provided with a needle direction changing device, and the needle direction changing device is preferably configured to bend the needle shaft portion in front of the barrel after injection, thereby causing the needle. The tip is changed from a first position that projects forward coaxially with the syringe barrel to a second position that covers or protects the needle tip from accidental or accidental contact and associated needle sticks.
