PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the break of a signal cable and peeling of a joint part in an imaging apparatus, which are caused by the bending operation of a curving portion.SOLUTION: The distal end of a reinforcing frame 59 is fixed to a prism holding member 54 and the rear end is fixed to the jacket of the signal cable 25. A prism 53 and a sub-board 58 are incorporated in the reinforcing frame 59 and fixed by a seal resin 60 by filling an adhesive. A joint piece 75 extended from the rear end of the reinforcing frame 59 is fixed to the jacket of the signal cable 25 by the use of a spool and the adhesive. The spool is covered with a protection tube 80. The prism holding member 54, the prism 53, the sub-board 58, and a wire 65 of the signal cable 25 are integrated with the reinforcing frame 59 by the seal resin 60, so that the reinforcing frame 59 and the signal cable 25 are fixed by the spool and the adhesive. Thus, bending or pulling force is not applied to a CCD 56 and boards 57, 58 even when the signal cable 25 is bent by the bending operation of the curving portion 32 and pulling and bending are made to act.
