PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus which allows a static image desired by a user to be stored in a compact data size.SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope apparatus includes an electronic endoscope for outputting an endoscope image as a video signal, a monitor, and an electronic endoscope processor which processes the video signal to generate a display image including the endoscope image, and outputs the display image to the monitor.
