The present invention addresses the problem of providing nasal drops which can achieve high absorption of oxytocin which is a peptide hormone an acid addition salt of oxytocin or a derivative of oxytocin or the acid addition salt through a nasal mucosa and which has less concerns about safety. The present invention is a pharmaceutical composition intended to be administered to a nasal mucosa characterized by comprising oxytocin an acid addition salt of oxytocin or a derivative of oxytocin or the acid addition salt and a carboxyvinyl polymer and having an osmotic pressure ratio of less than 1.
