PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound covering material for forming a wet environment necessary for growth of epidermal cells, preventing excessive diffusion of an exudate to surrounding of a wound surface, and capable of liquating a wound healing component and antibacterial component.SOLUTION: The wound covering material comprises a glass fiber nonwoven fabric and an absorption member, in which the glass fiber nonwoven fabric is formed of a glass comprising as a glass composition, B2O3 and CaO, and comprises a first surface contacting a wound surface, and a second surface facing the first surface.
