PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible circuit board for a living body with a protective layer which has a small number of components, is not stuck to skin without coming into contact even when a living body surface is touched, has no risk of damaging the skin and causes no discomfort due to stickiness of an adhesive or the like.SOLUTION: The flexible circuit board for a living body with a protective layer includes a detection part 11 attached to a living body to detect a signal generated from the living body, and a flat cable 31 for extracting the signal detected by the detection part 11 to the outside. Foamed protective layers 51, 53 are formed on both front and back surfaces of the flat cable 31.
