A method for screening a drug affecting kidney function includes the following steps of: injecting the drug into a blood vessel of 48 hour post fertilization (hpf) zebrafish larvae by using microinjection technique; moving a hydrogen ion microelectrode to a predetermined position at a predetermined distance from a cloaca of the zebrafish larvae; detecting pH values of the cloaca within 5 minutes and calculating a pH difference (ΔpH) by difference between maximum and minimum pH values; and evaluating whether the drug affects the kidney function or not by a variation of the pH difference. According to the present method, the effect of the drug on the kidney function can be easily evaluated, and are more rapidity, sensitivity, accuracy and specificity.本發明提供一種篩選影響腎臟功能之藥物的方法,其包含以下步驟:利用顯微注射技術將藥物注射至受精後48小時的斑馬魚仔魚血管中;將微型氫離子電極移到與斑馬魚仔魚的泄殖腔相距一預定距離的預定位置;五分鐘內連續偵測泄殖腔的pH值變化,並藉由最大值和最小值的差值以計算pH差值 (ΔpH);藉由pH差值的變化來評估藥物是否影響腎臟的功能。根據上述方法可簡單評估藥物對腎臟功能的影響,並且更快速、具有靈敏性、準確性和專一性的實用性。
