The present invention relates to mutated hyperthermophilic phosphotriesterases (PTEs) which have lactonase activity, and to the uses thereof as biopurifiers in the context of the decontamination of surfaces of materials, of the skin or of the mucous membranes, contaminated with organophosphorus compounds, or in the context of the preparation of medicaments that can be used in the context of the prevention or treatment of external contamination or of internal poisoning, by ingestion or inhalation, with organophosphorus compounds, or in the context of the depollution of water polluted with organophosphorus compounds.La présente invention a pour objet des phosphotriestérases (PTE) hyperthermophiles mutées possédant une activité lactonase, et leurs utilisations en tant que bio-épurateurs dans le cadre de la décontamination des surfaces des matériaux, de la peau, ou des muqueuses, contaminés par des composés organophosphorés, ou dans le cadre de la préparation de médicaments utilisables dans le cadre de la prévention ou du traitement dune contamination externe ou dune intoxication interne par ingestion ou inhalation par des composés organophosphorés, ou dans le cadre de la dépollution des eaux polluées par des composés organophosphorés.
