The leash (2) in the housing (20) can be unwound against a spring force. An outer end of the leash (2) has a grip (22). The collar (1) has first and second free ends (11, 12) and the housing (20) for the leash (2) is provided on the first end (11) and a loop (13), through which the leash (2) is fed, is provided on the second end (12).
