The present invention relates to providing a system which allows a user to attach, or detach, a leash to, or from, a pets collar using only one hand, without the need to remove mittens or gloves in colder climates, without the need to touch or grasp a hot metal “D-ring” or other method of attachment on a collar in hot climates, but simply attaching the leash directly to the collar itself.
