PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe adapter capable of facilitating reliable connection of a connector and avoiding accidental or accidental disconnection of the connector. A syringe adapter includes a housing that defines an interior space, a seal arrangement that includes a membrane body 60 that is received within the interior space of the housing with a seal arrangement that is movable within the housing, and a syringe barrel. The connector body 22 is included. The connector body includes a locking projection 38 which cooperates with a retaining ring 40 on the housing. The connector body is rotatable with respect to the housing in first and second directions. The locking projection engages the retaining ring to limit axial movement of the connector body relative to the housing.
