PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overload on a knotter device by alarming the capacity limit of the knotter in the binding work with the knotter device to avoid the breakage of a shear pin in a safety mechanism and prevent the lowering of the workability caused by an unnecessary alarm in the case of a bulk drop work free from overload risk.SOLUTION: The combine harvester 1 is provided with a knotter device 10 at the delivery end of a waste straw transfer path to enable the selection of a binding work to bind waste straws supplied to the knotter device 10 and discharge the bound waste straws and a bulk drop work to discharge the waste straws supplied to the knotter device without binding the waste straws.
