The solution is a method of automatic monitoring of the health status of the animal involving implantation of the identification chip (2) with the sensor of body temperature under the skin of the animal (1), location of the wireless reader (3) of chips (2) to the breeding space, automatic recognition of the animals (1) with a suspiciously high body temperature on the basis of the cooling value of the environment and the data from the medical card (6) of the animal and execution of measures to avoid undermining of the health condition of the animals (1) or even to prevent their deaths.
