A fungicidal composition having a synergistic effect is provided. Thecompositioncomprises active ingredients A and B. The active ingredient A ispolyhexamethylenebiguanide or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof, the active ingredientB is one selectedfrom cyprodinil, epoxiconazole, benthiavalicarb-isopropyl, zoxamide,azoxystobin,prothioconazole, difenoconazole, fenamidone, polyoxin, iprodione, acibenzoIar,dithianon,pyraclostrobin, trifloxystrobin, picoxystrobin, fluazinam, thifluzamide ordimethomorph,and the weight ratio of the two ingredients is from 1:50 to 50:1. The testresults show thatthe fungicidal composition according to the present invention has-an obvioussynergisticeffect, and importantly, the application rate is reduced, such that the costis lowered. Theapplication rate of a single agent alone is effectively reduced by combiningthe fungicidesof different mechanisms and modes of action, which is beneficial forbroadening thefungicidal spectrum, retarding the resistance development of the fungi andimproving thecontrol effect.
