The claimed invention relates to the medicine, namely to the device for the treatment of purulent wounds, the method for the treatment of the purulent wounds using the proposed device, and application of the proposed device for the treatment of the purulent wounds. The device includes an elastic base plate, a transparent protective plastic-film container attached onto the base plate, an evacuator for wound discharge designed as adhered or welded round tube with a locking hole, wherein the transparent protective plastic-film container is additionally equipped with a tube intended for supplying the medicinal gas into this container. The tube is located at the top of the film container opposite to evacuator to the right or to the left of the axis of symmetry designed as cylindrical plastic sleeve adhered or welded to the transparent film container with the opening connected with the internal cavity of the protective plastic container. The opening of the sleeve may be closed with the cap. Furthermore, the transparent protective plastic-film container is additionally equipped with a tube for exhausted gas offtake. The latter is located at the top of the film container opposite to evacuator to the right or to the left of the axis of symmetry designed as cylindrical plastic sleeve adhered or welded to the transparent film container with the opening connected with the internal cavity of the protective plastic container with the opening of the sleeve configured to be closed with the cap.
