PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new hydroponic device which realizes improvement in an aspect of the action of light for growing plants as a device or method for hydroponic cultivation realizing: easy formation and maintenance in home use by its simple construction； low cost； convenient management of the cultivation and application to cultivation of food crop.SOLUTION: The hydroponic device comprises through holes 5 for holding plants. A holding panel 4 arranged on a lid part of a cultivation bed 2 in which nutrient is stored is a colored resin product which selectively reflects at least one of blue light and red light from natural light and facilitates growth of plants with the reflected light. An upper opening wall part 6 of the through holes 5 on the holding panel 4 is cylindrically projected so as to be higher by one step than the upper surface of the holding panel 4. A tapered surface 9 is formed on the inner wall thereof so that the holes expand outward.【課題】簡便な構成としてその形成、保守が家庭用としても容易で、しかも低コストであり、栽培管理も簡易であって食用作物の栽培への適用も可能である水耕栽培のための装置、方法として、植物の生育に係る光の作用の観点からもさらに改善を図った新しい水耕栽培装置を提供する。【解決手段】植物を定植するための貫通口５を有し、養液が保留される栽培ベッド２の蓋部に配置される定植パネル４は、自然光からの青色光及び赤色光の少なくともいずれかを選択的に反射する着色樹脂成形体であり、反射光が植物の生育を促進する。前記定植パネル４の貫通口５の上部開口壁部６は、定植パネル４の上面よりも一段高く円筒状に立ちあがっており、その内壁には外側へ向かって広がるテーパー面９が形成されている。【選択図】図２
